Gazebo

Gazebo Grand Opening

After years of planning and hard work the gazebo is finally finished. The grand opening took place on Thursday, July 28. The event included live entertainment provided by the Gravel Road Band, home-made ice cream and chocolate sheet cake. Patrons brought their lawn chairs and blankets to sit on while they enjoyed the many activities.

Even when the gazebo was finished, there was still work to be done. Cement was poured in a pathway encircling the gazebo and this is where the personalized bricks are placed. Dedication bricks are a wonderful way to recognize, memorialize and honor a loved one while providing support for the Museum. The bricks can be engraved with two lines of 13 characters each. Bricks sell for $40 each and can be purchased at the Museum gift shop or by printing a order form (click on towel and bricks below) and mail it to the Museum.

Our gazebo is used by the community for many events including ice cream socials, wedding receptions, ceremonies, birthday parties, evenings in the park and in many other diverse ways. The gazebo is a great gathering place, so keep us in mind for your next event. Speak to any Museum staff member for details.
